Licorice (Glycyrrhizin)

MyVita Licorice SILVER PURE is a dietary supplement containing a standardised licorice root extract (Glycyrrhiza glabra) with 20% glycyrrhizin.

The formula contains no artificial additives or unnecessary fillers. The active ingredient is glycyrrhizin (glycyrrhizic acid), one of the main naturally occurring compounds found in licorice root.

Properties

Licorice root (Radix Glycyrrhizae) has been used for centuries and has a characteristic intensely sweet taste due primarily to its glycyrrhizin content.

Licorice contains numerous naturally occurring active compounds, including flavonoids, coumarins, essential oils, polysaccharides and triterpene saponins.

Licorice:

Ingredients

Licorice root extract (Glycyrrhiza glabra) standardised to 20% glycyrrhizin, chicory root inulin (Cichorium) – 60 mg, L-leucine – 30 mg, hydroxypropyl methylcellulose (plant-based cellulose capsule shell).

Active Ingredients

1 capsule contains:

Licorice root extract – 250 mg

of which glycyrrhizin – 50 mg.

2 capsules contain:

Licorice root extract – 500 mg

of which glycyrrhizin – 100 mg.

Recommended Intake

Take 1–2 capsules daily with water.
